Wood Over Concrete

This is the most affordable option. As long as your step is structurally sound we can attach treated wood strapping to the steps. Then install treated deck boards. The sides can be left open or finished with wood planks and lattice.

Remove Concrete Steps and Replace with Wood

This is the second most affordable option. We will remove your existing concrete steps and build new wood steps with treated lumber.

Concrete Repair - High Strength Coating

Most concrete steps can be repaired. Loose concrete and old repairs are removed. Corrosion-resistant wire mesh and corrosion-proof epoxy-coated rebar are added where required. Then a high-strength repair mortar is applied to the damaged areas. The step gets a final grinding and we apply a high-strength finish coat leaving a broom finish texture. The sides are normally finished off with a grey dashed stucco coat. Your steps will look like new for many years to come.

Concrete Repair - Chip and re-pour

This repair method is perfect for steps having 3 or 4 inches of crumbling concrete on top but is otherwise structurally sound and attached to the house.

The Repair process involves chipping off 3 to 5 inches of concrete around the entire step. Corrosion-proof epoxy-coated rebar is glued into the existing step to hold the new concrete in place. Corrosion-resistant rebar mesh is attached over the entire step to help bond the new concrete. The step is formed up and poured. Concrete is supplied from a ready-mix truck. The sides are normally finished off with a grey dashed stucco coat.

Concrete Rip and Replace

Exactly is it sounds, we rip out your existing steps then form and pour new concrete steps. This involves drilling at least 1 pile and is the most expensive step repair option.
